Shannon received her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, FL. While she still misses more temperate weather, she is glad to avoid daily afternoon thundershowers. In a prior life she was a nationally certified massage therapist for 20 years and minored in dance during her undergraduate work. Shannon continues to grow her manual therapy skills that include: joint mobilization, soft tissue release, strain-counterstrain, neural tension techniques and neuromuscular re-education.
